More About Collins & Esther
Collins is a teacher at a Catholic school while his wife, Esther, stays home to care for their two children. Although Collins is employed, his job does not pay enough to support his family’s current needs. Collins and Esther have other family members that rely on them for financial support which has made budgeting incredibly challenging.
To better support their family, Collins and Esther have been trying to open their own Beauty Salon that will offer hair, nails, and makeup services. Esther states, “it’s been challenging trying to open our business due to financing and business know-how.” Right now, Collins & Esther are in need of a mentor to help guide them on how to run a successful business, including business planning, financing, and business analytics. They are also in need of financial support to cover things such as operational expenses like rent and utilities, or replacement supplies for their business.
Collin shares, “running a successful business will put extra money into our current situation, and into our future, helping us improve our family situation now and provide the capital for future business opportunities. I hope to grow our business into something sustainable, employ more women in our community, and be able to fund other future business opportunities.”
